Q_ What happens during the consultation and trial?

Your therapist assesses your skin tone and hair type, you discuss the areas you would like treated, and you experience SplendorX 1.9 on a trial session so you know how it feels. You then receive a personalised laser plan and offer. The session is complimentary and there is no commitment.

Q_ Does laser hair removal hurt?

Sessions are designed to be painless. The integrated DCS™ cooling system delivers cool air before, during, and after each pulse, and each session is followed by TOSKANI calming cream or recovery gel.

Q_ Can I use a numbing cream beforehand?

No. We advise against using numbing creams before laser sessions.

While SplendorX 1.9 treatments are virtually painless, it is important to feel some sensation during the session, as this indicates effective hair follicle response.

Q_ How many sessions will I need?

Permanent hair removal requires consistency, with an average of six treatments for skin to become hair-free. Your own number of sessions is set in your personalised plan after the consultation.

Q_ Does it work on my skin tone?

SplendorX 1.9 is effective for all skin tones and hair types. For darker skin types, the Nd:YAG wavelength is considered the safest and most suitable option, and your therapist selects the setting for your skin at the start of every session.

Q_ When is laser not suitable?

Laser hair removal is not carried out in case of:

Presence or history of skin cancer, cold sores or keloid scars
Any active skin diseases, infections or inflammatory skin conditions
Pregnancy, breastfeeding or uncontrolled hormonal disorders
Use of photosensitive medications (e.g., isotretinoin, antibiotics)
Sun exposure or tanning 4 weeks prior to treatment
Recent treatments (e.g., chemical peels, microneedling, radio frequency, injectables) 2 weeks prior to treatment
Use of active skincare ingredients (retinoids, AHAs, BHAs) 2 weeks prior to treatment
